The House on Daly Lake
There is a house on Daly Lake
That I would like to own
Rumors have the house haunted
But I would have to be shown
It has a rock foundation
And to me, has majestic rank
It has seven rooms and a bathroom
With a wooden toilet tank
Built around the turn of the century
Or somewheres there about
The dark brown cabinets and woodwork
Of by-gone years seem to shout
Within is a massive old wood range
And a piano that doesn’t play
Evidently while sitting idle
Someone took the insides away
I’ve been told it’s haunted
And there’s been a murder there
But I think all this old house needs
Is someone to really care
