Our country
If you want to live in our country
Learn to speak the native tongue
Learn something of our heritage
Or go back where you came from
You seem to like our freedom
And our benefits and welfare
If you want to live here
Then you should be prepared
To speak the English language
That you learn in our school
By speaking it only while you’re learning
You make us look like fools
I really see no reason for us
To teach the Spanish tongue
And if that’s what you want to speak
